Hypocrite John McCain's Two Faces Are Showing... Again

Russia invaded the country of Georgia. It is definitely an undesired act against humanity with repercussions felt around the world.

All week long old John McCain has been clamoring for Russian prime Minister Vladimir Putin to stop the Russian invasion of Georgia, a democratic and pro-Western sovereign nation. It makes good election year rhetoric from the Karl Rove Republican playbook. But it cannot pass the smell test of American hypocrisy. Today, August 13, 2008, as reported in the media, John McCain stated:

"In the 21st Century nations don't invade other nations."

Now wait a minute folks! Is this the same John McCain, who is for a lethal, preemptive strike on any sovereign nation he considers is a danger to the US? Remember his little ditty, "Bomb, bomb, bomb Iran?" Is this the same John McCain , war hawk extraodinaire on Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan? Is it an arrogant statement that is a classic McCain blunder, who seems to forget what is going on in the world? Did he forget the US is now occupying two sovereign nations in the Middle East?

Are not Iraq and Afghanistan sovereign nations? We invaded Iraq under false pretenses, flat out lies perpetrated by the Bush Administration...and McCain signed off on those deceptions. tell me, what is the difference here? Ask old John McCain, why does Bush have a right to invade a sovereign nation and Putin does not?

Now Bush is posturing as a cowboy again, rounding up his friends in the G-8 and attempting to throw Russia out of the G-8. Does either of these guys think straight?
