At Last A President Who Rolls Up His Shirt Sleeves And Works For The Nation

The Bush dress code in the Oval Office was all show and no substance. Andrew Card, former Chief of Staff to Bush took aim at President Obama, chastizing him because he works with his coat off and in his shirt sleeves . Card voices his opinion vociferously. Is this something we should be concerned about in our president, or even commenting on? Is this the best the Republicans can do?

Now Card is presumably the Fashion Police of the White House and tries to set the dress code in Obama's White House through innunedos. Card twists this respect shit all out of place. So George Bush wore a suit and tie in respect for the office. However, did not respect the office and the people who sent him there issuing dangerous world policies and led us into two wars. The American economy is in shambles and we are in a major fight a to survive the onslaught of a Republican based depression. Where is the respect for the Oval Office from Bush since he brought all this "doom and gloom" on the American people, and old Andy Card dressed to the hilt was standing right beside George Bush. Such hypocracy!

So what, if Obama takes off his jacket and works in his shirt sleeves. Isn't that the type of President we want. Forget the dress code, it is pure snob bullshit anyway. It's nice to see our president hard at work and is comfortable doing it. Andrew Card take your out of place, unsavory comments and shove them. We have a working president...not a fashion plate in the Oval Office. A jacket cannot cover a multitude of political mistakes in the Oval Office.
